For more than 65 years, industry has trusted Actemium to advise, design, build and maintain the complex infrastructure that keeps Australia running. Today, Actemium Australia is able to support every stage of your industrial project across nine key Australian industries.
Given our decentralised organisation, our diversity and international footprint, we remain connected through our values. These translate into ways of working, business know-how, common attitudes, behaviours, and language.
Unlike many multinational organisations, VINCI invests in Australian business. Operating through existing Australian teams such as J&P Richardson, which has supported customers across South East Australia since 1958, Actemium builds on long-standing staff and their historic reputation.

Our History
J&P Richardson is now Actemium Australia
J&P Richardson is the South East Queensland business that formed the foundation of Actemium Australia. Established in 1958, J&P Richardson has spent more than 65 years building trusted relationships while it delivered electrical, engineering, automation and infrastructure solutions throughout Queensland.
Following its acquisition by VINCI Energies, the business evolved into Actemium Australia while retaining the people, expertise and facilities that had made J&P Richardson a trusted industry partner. This approach preserved the strengths of a long-established local business while providing access to the global resources, specialist knowledge and innovation of one of the world’s leading energy and industrial services groups.
Building on the successful transition of J&P Richardson into Actemium Australia in South East Queensland, Actemium plans to expand its presence into Victoria using a similar model, combining strong local businesses with the global expertise and capabilities of VINCI Energies.
